The 'Gift of Light' events draws closer

On Saturday June 21, Federation Square will host the Gift of Light - an event celebrating light and enlightenment. Light-based art installations have been devised by 9 local artists in consultation with different cultural communities. Melbourne’s community is invited to share in this celebration with music and performance - on the Winter Solstice – the longest night of the year. The communities represented are Indigenous, Japanese, African, Indian, Burmese, Chilean, Turkish, Vietnamese and Afghan. People will be gathering at Fed Square from 4pm. See you there!
